To get the pictures below, I shimmied up some wood planks resting against the wall to an open window.  I was by myself
that day, and unarmed, so I thought twice about entering the building.  As I leaned in the window I encountered two
unsavory individuals doing what I will refer to as illegal activities.  I excused myself, and explained I just wanted to
document the architecture, to which one of them slurred, "oh that's okay, we're just trying to stay out of trouble".  I took his
word for it, snapped a few photos and hightailed it out of there.  The next time I went back to Asbury Park all of the
windows on the first two stories were boarded up and new "No Trespassing" signs were posted.

The Ambassador hotel was very recently demolished.
This was most likely a ballroom or banquet hall of some sort.  Through the doorway to the left is a kitchen.   To the upper right, the intricate ceiling is warped and bloated from water damage.
